Our flagship product FastCAM was first introduced as a simple Drawing Editor in 1976. Today FastCAM is most commonly sold as part of a 'bundled system' with the trademarked products FastPLOT and FastNEST, offering a complete low-cost solution for Drawing, Nesting and Cutting steel plate.
The FastCAM System has been designed to draw, nest and cut metal as simply and efficiently as possible. Ease of use is as important as the high levels of materials utilization and optimization the software provides. Draw, Nest and cut from the one system.

The FastCAM Drawing Editor is far less complex than other systems. Unlike, CAD, it is a very simple program to use and learn. You do not need a CAD program (although FastCAM is compatible with CAD programs to enable you to use the FastCAM system for post processing and nesting). Easy Editing & Verification of geometry combined with one step nesting makes the system instantly productive, regardless of how the part is created.

FastCAM's long experience in heavy plate fabrication makes the system ideal for even the largest construction jobs. The FastCAM System is used successfully in Service Centers, Shipbuilding, Mining, Steel Fabrication, Metal Fabrication & Sign Cutting.

NC PROGRAMMING MADE FAST & EASY
The FastCAM System has been specifically developed for reproduction (takeoff) of traditional line drawings suitable for Processing & Nesting, via NC controlled, two dimensional (2D) cutting equipment.

The FastCAM System has been designed so that most functions are intuitive and obvious, making the Learning Curve very small. Engineers, Draftsman & Tradesman, will find the system both Powerful and Simple to use.

FastCAM supports all combinations of machine and controller as well as ESSI, EIA and ISO NC languages in both inch and metric. NC output can be Absolute or Incremental.

Where drawing information exists electronically, FastCAM has an extremely Powerful CAD interface that cleans and compresses code ready for quality cutting. FastCAM can read or convert CAM, DXF, IGES, ESSI, Word Address, (EIA) as standard, HPGL and direct AutoCAD DWG import are cost-plus options.
