Dryer

 

Paper drying cylinder refers to the machinery used in paper making machinery to continuously dry the formed paper pulp. Dozens of drying cylinders are placed crosswise in a paper machine. A paper drying cylinder is a drum type pressure vessel with rotating shafts installed on the heads at both ends, and steam for drying paper is introduced through the hollow shaft hole at one end. There is also a lifting bucket inside the cylinder that contains water to send condensed water to the hollow shaft at the other end for discharge. The drying cylinder is generally made by casting cast iron and polishing the outer surface. By utilizing the characteristics of graphite flakes in cast iron, it is easy to detach the paper blank from the cylinder surface and prevent the paper from being stuck during paper drying
