2. System characteristic

Coal conveyor systems refer to carry on programmed control to equipments, and realize to automatically transport the coal from coal yard to bunker or scuttle. Coal conveying technology is comprised of loading system, piling system, supply system and blending system which is mainly used for accomplishing manual/automation supply, manual/automation blending, furnace measuring, automatic rapping and belt protection.

3. System configuration

This system is SIMENS SIMTIC PLC-based, which is equipped a master station, a few slave stations and I/O stations. To form monitoring nets via upper computer for achieving real-time data acquisition and operation, historical data collection& memory, chart display, real-time alarm and record.

Monitoring functionShowing the whole technical flows which include running state, instruments signals, signal equipment condition and so on via the upper monitor, its monitoring pictures have system panorama, loading, supply, blend, machine state maintenance and alarm etc...

Control functionSupply and blending controls are the main function the conveyor system.

The supplying control has three control ways: Automation, manual operation and local way;

The automatic control is the main way of operation, and it is considered to reduce the steps is operated by human.
Manual operation is consisted of interlocking and unlocking manual, and both of them finish the operation via keyboard and mouse of upper computer.
The local way is not as the normal running method, does not control by the programmable controller, and operates by the local control cabinet.
With program-controlled and manual ways, the blending control can flexibly control the coal supplying, and manually control ploughs no matter if it is under the automatic condition or not.

The automatically coal blending: Boiler demand-based, operators enter relative orders to supply coal automatically. There are the functions of first -coal feeding by coal level, time cycling coal feeding, automatic cross function, tailing bunker, overhaul bunker setting, average function, high-level alarm and handle blending etc...

Besides, this system has also the functions of path judgment, system interlock, starting interlock, stopping interlock, fault interlock, monitoring and management etc. Can ensure to run safely
