Background

This SOHO-PBX SP-308C system is an ideal telephone system for small offices and home offices. It is very easy to install and use. It has all the standard features comparable to those expensive PBX systems in the market. It works with your current analog phones and you do not SOHO-PBX SP-308C

Dialing Out

1. 3 CO lines and 8 extensions.

Support up to 3 Telephone lines and 8 extensions, any one of the CO line can be accessed by all extensions.

2. Direct and Indirect Dialing mode
User has the option to access a CO line by directly dialing the telephone number or indirectly by first dialing an access digit '9'.

3. Secretary assisted dialing
The secretary can make an outgoing call from any extension and then transfer the established call to the other extension.

4. Toll restriction scheme
Long-distance dialing can be disabled on any extension by restricting the dialing of certain leading digits.

5. Password protected CO line option
Outgoing calls and long-distance dialing on any extension can be restricted by the use of password.

6. Time limited forced disconnect
All extensions can be programmed to disconnect outgoing calls after a certain period of time (in minutes) has elapsed.

7. CO line monitor
Live conversations can be monitored.

8. Caller ID transfer (FSK/DTMF/Bellcore)
Caller ID remains available for display when a call has been transferred from one extension to another.

9. Automated attendant
Greets caller with a prerecorded message (OGM, 10-12 seconds), wait for the caller's response, and connects the line to the appropriate extension.

10. Attendant call selection (incoming call route selection)
Incoming calls can be transferred automatically to a programmed extension with the attendant on duty/operator.

11. Do not disturb
Extension with this feature turned on will not ring and the call will be transferred to another extension.

12. Call hold transfer
Incoming call can be put on hold and transferred from any extension without any limit even on misdials. Incoming caller listens to music during the transfer.

13. Secretary assisted call transfer
The secretary can first talk to the person at the extension requested by the caller before transferring the call (to avoid taking unnecessary calls).

14. Transfer with no answer
The incoming call will be redirected back to the extension first made the transfer if the person at the requested extension does not answer. The caller listens to music on hold during the transfer.

15. Incoming call pick up
Incoming calls can be answered from any extension.

16. Internal calls
Intercom calls can be made between different extensions.

17. Compatible with most communication equipment like fax machines and modems
The PBX-308C can be connected to telephones, fax machines, computers and other communication equipment requiring an analog phone line.

18. Transfer if busy
All Incoming calls will be transferred to another extension when the requested extension is busy.

19. CO line grouping
CO lines can be programmed to be answered by certain group of extensions.

20. Three party conference call
Three party conferencing for both incoming calls and intercom calls.

21. Incoming call alert
Persons at the engaged extensions will hear a special tone alerting them that there is an incoming call.

22. Intercom call all extensions
Any extension can ring all extension at once.

23. Power failure tolerant
During a power failure 4 extensions remain functional for both intercom and CO line calls.
