Uses

Solvent; it is used as reaction medium for Grignard and similar synthesis.
Mainly used as nitroc ellulose, synthetic resin, paint, ink solvent, its strong solubility, can be used as paint removal solvent, diluent, because of its good chemical stability, can also be used as organic synthesis of inert solvent.

 

In addition to the above applications, diethylene glycol dimethyl ether can also be used as a solvent for water-based paint, leather and fiber leveling agent, photo printing leveling agent. It can be used as aprotic polar solvent in organic synthesis, anion polymerization, coordination ion polymerization solvent.
