INDICATIONS
Clarithromycin capsules, this product is suitable for the following infections caused by clarithromycin sensitive bacteria: 1. Nasopharyngeal infections: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis;
2. Lower respiratory tract infection: including bronchitis, bacterial pneumonia, atypical pneumonia;
3. Skin infections, impetigo, erysipelas, folliculitis, boils and wound infections.
Adverse reactions
1. Mainly include bad breath (3%), abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and other gastrointestinal reactions (2% to 3%), headache (2%), and transient elevation of serum aminotransferase.
2. Allergic reactions may occur, ranging from drug eruption and urticaria in mild cases to allergy and Stevens-Johnson disease in severe cases.
3. Occasionally hepatotoxicity, pseudomembranous colitis caused by Clostridium difficile.
