structure
The air hammer is mainly composed of a frame, a transmission mechanism, a compression cylinder and a working cylinder, a compression piston, a falling part, a valve mechanism and an anvil.

Driving mechanism
The transmission mechanism includes a reducer, a crankshaft and a connecting rod system. It converts the rotational motion of the motor into the up and down reciprocating motion of the compression piston.
Compression cylinder and working cylinder
The upper and lower parts of the compression cylinder and the working cylinder are connected with the upper and lower rotary valve, and the compressed air is generated by the up and down movement of the compression piston to drive the working piston to move up and down.
Falling part
The falling part is composed of a working piston, a hammer rod and an anvil, etc. The hammer rod and the working piston are a whole, and can be made into a hollow part in order to make its weight meet the technical specifications. The connection between the hammer rod and the hammer head is connected by a dovetail groove and a wedge iron.
Valve mechanism
The valve mechanism is composed of an upper rotary valve in the upper airway, a lower rotary valve in the lower airway, an operating handle or a foot lever, and various actions are controlled through the valve mechanism.
Anvil block
The anvil is installed above the anvil pad and the lower anvil, in order to meet the stability of the forging, the quality of the anvil is 12-15 times the mass of the falling part, it is installed on a solid reinforced cement foundation, which is padded with cushion wood, which can eliminate the vibration generated during hammering.
Working principle
The motor, through the decelerating mechanism and crank, the connecting rod drives the compression piston of the compression cylinder to move up and down to produce compressed air. When the upper and lower airways of the compression cylinder are connected with the atmosphere, the compressed air does not enter the working cylinder, the motor is idling, and the hammer head does not work. The upper and lower rotary valve is operated by the handle or foot rod, so that the compressed air enters the upper or lower part of the working cylinder, and pushes the working piston to move up and down, thus driving the rise or fall of the hammer head and the upper steel to complete various striking actions. There are four modes of communication between the rotary valve and the two cylinders, which can produce four actions: lifting hammer, continuous play, downward pressure and idling
