Product Description

Calcium stearate is white particle or powder, insoluble in hot water, toluene, ethyl alcohol and other organic solvents.
Special Instruction: Granular high-purity calcium stearate is the unique calcium stearate product of the company.
Volatile matter≤0.5%.
It can be used as stabilizer and lubricant in poly(vinyl chloride), as halogen absorbent for poly(ethylene) and polypropylene. For volatile matter content is lower than 0.5%, granular calcium stearate is suitable for occasions where good production environment, low volatile matter content and high accuracy of measuring are required.

Application

1.Widely used as a heat stabilizer in PVC rigid products. 
2.As a halogen absorber in polypropylene and polyethylene, it can eliminate the negative effects of residual catalysts in the resin on the colour and stability of the resin. 
3.Also used as a lubricant for polyolefin fibres and mouldings. 
4.Used as a mould release agent, plasticizer, thickening agent for grease, waterproofing agent for textiles, smoothing agent for paint industry, etc. in rubber processing. 
5.It can also be used as food additive, feed additive, cosmetics, etc.
